About Us!

Gumball

About the Company

Gumball Theatre’s shows involve you, the audience, putting your own ideas – whether it be a word, a line of dialogue or the name of your least favourite Backstreet Boy – into our onstage gumball machine.

We then draw out these fabooshy suggestions and create scenes on the spot from them!

At the end of the night, the audience member who’s suggestion has inspired the most popular scene of the night, will go away with an illustrious prize-pack, at least some of which will comprise gumballs.

The company was founded in 2010 by comedian and improviser Jenny Wynter, who says she is excited about creating improv like Brissie audiences “have never seen it before. Especially if they have never seen it before.”
